For me currently the best browser around is Firefox
Everyone’s requirements are different so read on and find out how the most common browsers square up against one another.
There are lots of internet browsers on the market so you have quite a selection to choose from, here we shall cover what I consider to be the top 5, this includes.

Firefox
Currently my Favorite Browser is Firefox
Best browser. As I stated above this is currently the best browser in my opinion, it runs well, and seems faster than Internet Explorer to me.
It’s got all manner of add-ins making it one of the most flexible and customizable browsers around.
On the downside it can be a little memory hungry sometimes using large chunks of RAM, this is easily rectified though by simply closing and launching.
Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer the Most Popular by Default, But is it the best?
Best internet browserMany people stick with Internet Explorer due to it previously coming bundled with Windows, but now you will see a choice browsers.
Earlier versions of Internet Explorer namely 6 & 7 leave a lot to be desired as they can be pretty slow and previously had some rather large security holes which made many people choose alternative browsers.
Luckily though Microsoft really got its act together with its latest incarnation of Internet Explorer version 8.
It seems faster, has a lot of built in protection to help protect you while browsing as well as many other useful features
Chrome
Google Chome, its Fast But How Complete a Browser is it?
Google chrome browserOne of the newest browsers on the market, perhaps the fastest currently around, I’ve found any product with Google behind it will generally be very good and this is no exception.
My main gripe with chrome is it’s maturity, somehow to me it just does not feel complete due to a couple of little niggles such as..
Even if you don’t set it as the default browser it will still try to open certain files, I’ve yet to find a way around this.
Secondly using one my web based keyword searches it never seems to finish the search.
Compared to the likes of Internet Explorer or Firefox Chrome is still in its infancy, give it one or two more releases and it really could be the best browser around.
Safari
Safari the Definitive Mac Browser
Safari browserApples Safari browser has been around a long time; to be honest it’s probably the one I’ve used the least of all of the ones mentioned here, my wife on the other hand has been using Apple Macs for the last 5 years, and although she uses a pc now she still primarily uses Safari as in her words it is the best internet browser as its very secure, runs very well and very seldom it ever crashes.
To me it seems like a well put together browser, but it just does not feel special, horses for courses..
Opera
Opera check it out, some will use nothing else
Perhaps the least known browser of the bunch, but don’t be put off by this, if you’re looking for a light and very fast browser that is ideal for the average user this could be the best browser for you.
It’s actually been around much longer than most people realize and as such this is one very polished piece of software.
Notes
Choosing the best internet browser today is much harder than a few years back as all five of these are very very good, they do have a few minor niggles, but that’s just being picky.
As I said earlier download and test each one to find the best internet browser for you it’s the only way.
