checking computer history

checking computer history

Is there anyway of checking computer history as we had an employee who has now left, who used his personal computer for his work computer.

After he left, he entered one of the systems and we’re pretty sure changed some things.

Is there a way we can trace this back to his computer? To find out when he connected and what changes he has made?

It all really depends on how your network and the system is setup, is any type of auditing setup?

Can you check to see when he last logged in to your network? If your using a Windows domain this should be possible, also does your system support auditing? If so from this you should be able to see when he last logged in.
