Netcap.exe
(Network Monitor Capture Utility) This command-line tool allows
a system administrator to monitor packets on a LAN and write the

Driver to sniff packets on the local segment that fit its filter
criteria.
Netdiag.exe
(Network Connectivity Tester) This command-line diagnostic tool
helps to isolate networking and connectivity problems, by
performing a series of tests to determine the state of your
network client, and whether it is functional.
These tests, and the
key network status information they expose, give network
administrators and support personnel a more direct means of
identifying and isolating network problems.
Moreover, because
this tool does not require that parameters or switches be
specified, support personnel and network administrators can
focus on analyzing the output, rather than on training users how
to use the tool.
Netdom.exe (Windows Domain Manager) This tool enables
administrators to manage Windows 2000 domains and trust
relationships from the command line.
Nltest.exe
This command-line tool helps perform network administrative

or system administrator to monitor page faults that occur while
an application is running. PFMon is especially useful to trace
hard page faults.
(You can easily
resolve soft page faults with Virtual Memory Manager.) A
sustained high rate of hard page faults might indicate a
shortage of memory and can cause a disk bottleneck.
Use PFMon to trace
the source and number of page faults in a process and display
the data in the command window, write it to a log file, or both.
Pmon.exe
(Process Resource Monitor) This command-line performance tool
displays several measures of the processor and memory use of
processes running on the system.
The PMon display
appears in the command window. It is updated automatically every
few seconds and requires no configuration.

(PPTP) are being routed from a PPTP client to a PPTP server or
vice versa.
Pstat.exe
(Process and Thread Status) This command-line tool lists all
running processes and threads and displays their status. This

Q
Qfixapp.exe
(Quick Fix Application) This GUI tool provides an interface for
determining which combination of fixes will resolve an
application compatibility problem for a selected executable
(.exe) file. When your target file has a common name (for
example, setup.exe),
QFixApp
provides the ability to identify a file using file properties
and matching file information. This ensures that fixes are
applied to the correct file. Once you have uniquely identified a
target file, use QFixApp to identify which combinations of fixes
allow that application to work on Windows XP

systems running Windows XP, Windows 2000, and Windows NT.
The SIDWalker tools
are designed to support a three-phase approach to modifying
access control. Each phase of changing access control can take a
day or longer to complete and verify, and requires significant
amounts of system resources and administrator time. The phases
are:
Snmputilg.exe
(SNMP Troubleshooting Tool) This GUI tool allows system
administrators to obtain information from SNMP-manageable system
on the network.
You can use SNMPUtilG
to perform the basic SNMP operations (such as GET, GET-NEXT, and
SET) from a graphical interface. SNMPUtilG also supports saving
SNMP data to the clipboard, as well as saving data to
comma-delimited text files.
Spcheck.exe
(Service Pack Check) This command-line tool is used by
administrators to determine which service pack is installed on a
Windows XP, Windows 2000, or Windows NT 4.0 system.
