of the settings manually can be both time consuming and annoying
if you make any mistakes with user or server names.
Creating an email
accounts backup is both simple and quick to do, it enables you
to have all the email account information stored in small file.
It will include the username, mail server settings, such as POP3
and SMTP addresses.
Outlook Express
already has a built in export feature for this and it really is
a simple procedure backing up your email accounts .
To begin with launch
outlook express
From the tools menu
select “ Accounts ”
From here select the " mail " tab , now select the account you
wish to backup , depending on the amount of accounts you have ,
you will see them all here .
Once you have selected
the account you wish to export , simply click export.note -- see
the import button ,
If you ever need to
import email accounts simply click here and you will be prompted
to specify the path of the account you wish to import
After you've clicked on import now you will get the following
screen
From here you just need to specify where you would like to
save the file to,
well done all completed , you now have an email user account
backup.
