Hidden Spyware Windows Processes

Hidden spyware , A few weeks ago my wife had an issue with sporadic pop ups, she would go to Google perform a search and low and behold a few seconds later a pop up, whatever was causing them was actually monitoring the web browsing as the pop ups were always in line with whatever she was searching for.

So to find this annoyance I did the following.

Checked Messenger service was disabled as this can cause pop ups, already disabled as it should be running WinXp Service pack 2
Made sure the computer was set to view all files, Windows Explorer - Tools Menu - Folder Options - View Tab - Make sure show hidden files and folders is selected.

Next I downloaded Spybot Search and Destroy, found nothing Downloaded Adaware, found nothing.

Downloaded Spyware Doctor from Google found nothing.

After this checked each Windows Service to make sure that it was not malicious, all was clean.

I use a few other applications so I made sure each of them was not the cause of the pop ups by stopping each one and seeing of the pop ups stopped, I tried this with Skype, Sysense, Incredimail, and still got pop ups.

I was on the verge of rebuilding the pc when I read an article on hidden windows processes.

I downloaded one of the many free applications to view hidden processes and saw something called, isxrjci.exe I have searched the web trying everywhere to find out what isxrjci.exe is but it appears to be the cause of the pop ups, but I was surprised that none of the anti spyware software detected it.

I was also bemused that I could find no hits or information for isxrjci.exe , if anyone has any info on this please let us know so we can add more info on this mysterious file.
