Mr. Fixit Says I need to install DVD writer. The DVD player itself will play DVD and CD fine but it Wont burn. Do i really need a new DVD writer? Is there anything else i can try before i go get another one?
If i need to buy another which is the best DVD writer to install?? And how can i install the thing. is it easy?
I would try cleaning the drive first, after all if its reading disks it means the drive mechanism is fine, standard DVD player cleaner will suffice.
If you need to replace and have a good spec pc go for a 22 speed drive, Lite-on, Samsung and LG are good reliable makes.
