Internet Explorer Cannot Load Flash Addin

When Internet Explorer cannot load flash addin , this seems to be an all too common issue.

Much of the time when prompted to install the flash addin it’s usually just a case of simply going to http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash and just allowing the ActiveX control Adobe Flash Player to install, when installed you’ll see a Flash Animation.

If this does not work, and when this fails you may not be notified as it can install temporarily and then fail on the next website requiring flash.

Make sure you have Administrator rights to your computer, and now try installing.

Check your Internet Explorer settings are not preventing it being installed properly. Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Security tab, Internet, make sure “Security level for this zone” is set to Medium
