Processor upgrading between Celeron and Pentium, Can you switch from an Intel Celeron 450 processor to a full blown pentium by just swapping the processor out or do you need to upgrade other things as well like cooling fan motherboard etc, as it looks as though it would fit, just dont want to cause any damage in the process.
It depends on a few factors, which pentium processor do you want to upgrade to and which motherboard do you have? Your motherboard manual or even the manufacturers website will be able to which processors are compatible with it.
