How can you
increase your web site traffic ? There are so many ways to get
targeted traffic to your website, but how many of these actually
work?
Over the years I have
lost count of the amount of things I've done that will increase
your website traffic , and what gives you lots of traffic to
your web site on day may not work the next.
A prime example of this
is reciprocal linking, there was a time, when no matter what
kind of links you had pointing to your site, a link was a good
thing.
Today linking to sites
that have no relevance may actually damage the reputation of

1. EZine:
An easy way to get more web traffic is simply to create
articles and post them to other sites, such as blogger, word
press, please note though the whole idea of this is to get
people back to your site, never post the whole article,
otherwise why would anyone now come to your site, they already
gave you whole article, so make sure you only give part of the
article followed by something like "go here for the rest of the
article" this will help increase your web site traffic.
Limit the size of articles to around 600-700 words with around
50% being available as a preview.
2. Forums:
If you have an authoritive site, forums can be a good way to
increase site traffic , I would only recommend this if you have
this type of site, otherwise it may sound too much like a sales
pitch, on forums remember you are there to basically help
others.

bring a cart load of site traffic for popular posts.
3. E-books:
Writing an e-book can seem like a lot of hassle, but if you have
the article already this can be a simply thing to do, just make
sure you add lots of links to your site, and be prepared to give
it away, by using some of the e-book directories, a big increase
in web traffic can be expected for popular articles.
4. Mail List:
You'll need to have an established site or community to
create a mailing list, this is generally one of the most
overlooked ways of getting site traffic , after all remember
it's very targeted, the reader is already interested in the
theme of your site, by notifying people about new articles or
content can have them returning again and again, this will help
to spread the word about your fantastic site, and then just
watch the traffic go through the roof.
5. Feeds
If you have a website make sure you have an RSS (really simple
syndication) feed that people can subscribe to, this will notify
them as soon as you add more content, helping to increase your
