Transferring Yahoo messenger settings is easy to do even if you don’t remember your password.

To begin with run Regedit from the command line

Browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\yahoo\\pager

The actual keys we need are ETS which stores the password in an encrypted form and Yahoo user ID

But we’ll export the whole pager key.

Once this has been done, make sure Yahoo messenger is installed on the new computer,

Now run the exported registry files, and now Yahoo run as per your old computer.
