Yahoo Slow Messenger Problems

Yahoo slow , are you an avid Yahoo messenger user?

Does your computer crawl along after using Yahoo messenger with multiple sessions for any period of time?

Using multiple Yahoo Messenger sessions appears to slow down a computer quite considerably, this is due to file handles, as sessions are closed and opened for some reason the file handles which were in use are not released correctly so this has an accumulative effect.

By changing the registry setting to increase file handles

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SYSTEM\\ControlSet001\\Control\\Session Manager\\SubSystems

You will see Windows SharedSection=1024,3072,512

Change this to Windows SharedSection=1024,6144,512 this then locates twice the resources for multiple sessions.
